To be completely clear, it is a concept and an interest list only. Nothing is scheduled, nothing is confirmed, and ColoFandom has no approval, agreement or partnership with Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the City or any related organization.
What the Idea Is
Red Rocks is a world-famous outdoor venue carved into the foothills, with striking rock walls, steep seating and a skyline view toward Denver. The dream is simple: a night where Colorado fans gather under the open sky for a big game. It is a fan fantasy for now, a way to find out whether enough people would be excited by it.
Which Games Might Suit It
If an event like this were ever possible, it would likely be built around a huge moment, such as a deep playoff run or a championship game, when a whole region wants to watch together. We have no games in mind and no dates. There is no screen, no ticketing and no schedule.
Why It May Never Happen
- It would require permission from the venue and its managers, which we do not have
- Broadcast rights, safety, weather, traffic and capacity all need to be addressed
- Mountain weather can change quickly
- Any plan would have to follow venue rules and official requirements
