About ColoFandom
ColoFandom is an unofficial, independent fan hub for Colorado sports: guides, tailgates, watch parties, stories and community.
ColoFandom is the Mile High Sports Union: an independent fan community and guide for Colorado sports. We cover the Broncos, Nuggets, Avalanche, Rockies and Rapids, plus the college programs at CU Boulder, Colorado State and the University of Denver. We exist because Colorado game days are special, and they deserve a home on the internet that feels like the lot, the plaza and the stands.
Our mission
Our mission is simple: help fans show up, meet people and enjoy the day. Colorado sports culture lives in the details. It is the 5,280-foot altitude, the cold wind in the South Lot, the craft beer in your hand, the long drive down I-70 after a powder morning and the stranger who becomes a friend by the second quarter. We want to make those moments easier to find and easier to share.
What you will find here
- Team pages for the eight programs we follow, with a fan's-eye view of each home venue.
- Tailgate guides covering food, fire safety, altitude and cold weather, and craft beer pairings.
- Watch party venues where fans gather, with notes on what to confirm before you go.
- Fan stories and dispatches, from illustrative community stories to tactical and culture pieces.
- Local chapters for fans in Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and the mountain towns.
- Shows that are launching soon, plus matchday hub pages for sample games.
It is an early community hub. Today that means guides, interest lists and RSVP lists. Live scores, live chat, an app and payments are not live yet, and we will say plainly when that changes. Where you see sample scores or matchups, they are placeholders from our launch design.
Unofficial and independent
ColoFandom is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any team, league, broadcaster, venue, brewery or brand we mention. We name teams and places because fans do, not because we have inside access. We do not sell tickets, issue parking or lot permits, or claim partnerships or discounts with real businesses. When a venue matters, we tell you to confirm details with the venue, because hours, offers and capacity change.
How it is run
ColoFandom is run by a small independent team of Colorado fans. We write our own content, build the site as a simple static website and keep the privacy footprint light. We do not run user accounts, and the choices you save on the site, like RSVPs and saved items, live in your own browser. You can read the details on the Privacy Protocol page.
We aim to be accurate, but we are fans, not officials. If we get something wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Venue owners, chapter organizers and writers who want a correction or a conversation can reach us at [email protected].
Our values
- Be welcoming. Newcomers and rival fans are part of the story.
- Be safe. We encourage responsible drinking, designated drivers and careful fire and propane use.
- Be honest. We label sample data as sample data and we do not invent facts.
- Be local. We care about the mountains, the brewery towns and the neighborhoods around every venue.
Get involved
Join the Fan Pass interest list, start or join a chapter, send us your story or suggest a venue. A planned paid tier called the Founders Circle is on the roadmap, but payments are not open yet and nothing is charged today. Say hello at [email protected] and tell us about your game day.
