South Stands Breakdown

A fan's-eye weekly breakdown of Broncos games from the stands and the lot.

South Stands Breakdown is a planned ColoFandom show for Broncos fans, and it is launching soon. There are no episodes to stream yet, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we can do today is tell you exactly what the show is meant to be, who it is for and how to be first in line when it opens.

The idea is simple: a weekly conversation about Broncos football told from the fan's seat. Not from a press box, not with insider access, but from the South Lot and the South Stands at Empower Field at Mile High. ColoFandom is an unofficial, independent community, so the show will never claim a connection to the team, the league or the venue. It is fans talking to fans, with the warmth and a little broadcast swagger Colorado deserves.

The format

We are planning a relaxed, conversational format that is easy to catch on a commute, a drive up I-70 or a Saturday morning at the tailgate. Think of it as a friend who watched the game with you and has opinions, but is happy to hear yours too. Episodes will aim to be friendly to newcomers while still giving long-time fans something to nod along with.

Typical segments

Here is the shape we are sketching out. Final segments may change as the show finds its voice.

  • Lot Report: what the tailgate felt like, from smoker smoke to wind direction
  • The Stands View: how a drive looks and sounds from the upper rows versus the lower bowl
  • Three Things We Noticed: plain-language takeaways, not a coaching clinic
  • Next Week Planning: parking, weather at altitude and what to pack for the walk in

Who it is for

Broncos fans of every stripe, from season-ticket holders who know every usher to newer fans who just moved to Colorado and want to learn the rhythm of a home Sunday. If you have ever tried to explain to a friend from out of state what it is like to watch a game at 5,280 feet, this show is for you.

Launching soon: join the notify list

The show is not live, and we will not publish release dates here until they are real. The best way to hear first is to join the ColoFandom notify list from the Shows page. It is a simple interest list kept on the ColoFandom side, so you will only hear from us about launches that actually happen.
