Terms of Fandom
Plain-English site terms for ColoFandom: unofficial, informational, no guarantees, your submissions, conduct and no wagering.
Welcome to ColoFandom. By using this site you agree to these plain-English terms. They are a general summary and not legal advice. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
We are unofficial
ColoFandom is an independent fan community. We are not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any team, league, broadcaster, venue, brewery or brand mentioned on the site. Names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. We do not sell tickets or issue parking or lot permits.
Information only
Everything on ColoFandom is for general information and entertainment. We try to be accurate, but we do not guarantee that content is complete, current or correct. Venue details, schedules, scores, weather and prices change, and some figures on the site are sample or illustrative. Always confirm important details with the official source before you travel, buy or act. You use the site at your own risk.
No guarantees, limited liability
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, ColoFandom and its operators are not liable for losses, injuries or damages arising from your use of the site or from relying on its content, including travel, tailgate or event decisions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
Your submissions
If you send us a story, photo, comment or idea, you keep ownership of it. By sending it, you give ColoFandom a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to edit, display and share it on the site and in related promotion. You confirm that it is yours or that you have permission, that it does not infringe anyone's rights and that it is not unlawful. We may decline, edit or remove submissions at our discretion, and sending something does not promise publication.
Conduct
Please be a good fan. Do not use the site to harass or threaten people, post unlawful or hateful content, spam, impersonate others, attempt to disrupt or break the site or collect data in bulk. Please also follow the Tailgate & Community Code. We may remove content or restrict access when conduct crosses the line.
Third-party links
The site links to teams, venues and other external websites. We do not control them, and we are not responsible for their content, offers, availability or policies. A link is not an endorsement.
No wagering or betting
ColoFandom does not offer, promote or facilitate gambling, wagering, betting or fantasy contests for money. Any odds, records or matchups shown are for fan conversation only, and should not be used to place bets.
Memberships and planned features
Some features, like the Fan Pass interest list, are free sign-ups for updates. A planned paid tier, the Founders Circle, is not yet open and no payments are accepted. If that changes, we will publish clear terms at that time.
Intellectual property
The ColoFandom name, original writing and site design belong to ColoFandom or its contributors. You may share links and short quotes with credit for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy whole pages, scrape the site or use our content commercially without asking first. Team names, logos and photos belong to their respective owners.
Takedowns and corrections
If you believe something on the site is inaccurate or infringes your rights, tell us at [email protected] with the page and details. We will review it in good faith and may correct or remove the content.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continuing to use ColoFandom after an update means you accept the new version. Questions? Email [email protected].
Thank you for being part of the community and for using the site responsibly.
