Folsom Field Sidelines

CU Buffs game days, from the Hill to the sidelines, for students and alumni.

Folsom Field Sidelines is a planned ColoFandom show for Buffaloes fans, and it is launching soon. There are no episodes to stream yet, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we can do today is tell you exactly what the show is meant to be, who it is for and how to be first in line when it opens.

The idea is simple: a game-week conversation about Buffaloes college sports told from the fan's seat. Not from a press box, not with insider access, but from The Hill, the Flatirons and the walk up to the stadium at Folsom Field and the CU Events Center. ColoFandom is an unofficial, independent community, so the show will never claim a connection to the team, the league or the venue. It is fans talking to fans, with the warmth and a little broadcast swagger Colorado deserves.

The format

We are planning a relaxed, conversational format that is easy to catch on a commute, a drive up I-70 or a Saturday morning at the tailgate. Think of it as a friend who watched the game with you and has opinions, but is happy to hear yours too. Episodes will aim to be friendly to newcomers while still giving long-time fans something to nod along with.

Typical segments

Here is the shape we are sketching out. Final segments may change as the show finds its voice.

  • The Hill Report: where the energy was before kickoff or tip-off
  • Sideline Notes: a fan's view of the game, with student and alumni voices
  • Game Day Logistics: parking, shuttles, weather and what to wear in Boulder
  • Buffs Traditions: the chants, the colors and the stories that get passed down

Who it is for

CU students, alumni, parents and anyone who has ever climbed the hill toward Folsom with a black-and-gold scarf on. If you have ever tried to explain to a friend from out of state what it is like to watch a game at 5,280 feet, this show is for you.

Launching soon: join the notify list

The show is not live, and we will not publish release dates here until they are real. The best way to hear first is to join the ColoFandom notify list from the Shows page. It is a simple interest list kept on the ColoFandom side, so you will only hear from us about launches that actually happen.
