A conspiracy theory says that Leonardo da Vinci was an alien or the son of an alien and an earthling!

Leonardo da Vinci is one of the most famous artists in history and is surrounded by myths and conspiracy theories. In this mini blog we present some of these theories:⁠⁠

1. Leonardo da Vinci was a Mason: This theory presented by curious Internet users claims that Leonardo da Vinci left some Masonic symbols in his works. The most famous would be the triangle formed by the head and hands of Jesus with one of his eyes, exactly at the tip.

2. According to the novel “The Da Vinci Code,” Leonardo knew that Jesus had a secret child with Mary Magdalene: Dan Brown, the author of this novel, claims that the painting of the Last Supper is evidence of this conspiracy, since in it, the way Mary Magdalene and Jesus are painted fit together perfectly, as if they were a couple.⁠⁠

3. Leonardo had contact with aliens: According to several curious people on the Internet, if you look at some of Da Vinci’s paintings mirrored, you can see images of aliens. And according to Internet logic, the only way Leonardo could “know” the figure of an alien was by having contact with them. ⁠⁠

4. Leonardo da Vinci is the model for Mona Lisa. Several people have noticed a resemblance between the artist’s self-portraits and his painting of the Mona Lisa. And according to these curious people, these similarities are not just a coincidence, but are proof that Da Vinci was a transvestite and that the Mona Lisa is actually a self-portrait.⁠⁠

5. Leonardo’s self-portraits have the same face as the “Shroud of Turin.” According to legend, when Christ died, he was wrapped in a cloth or shroud and because of that, the image of his face was miraculously transferred to this shroud, which eventually ended up in Italy. And several people, when comparing the face on the shroud with Da Vinci’s self-portraits, have concluded that they had the same face.⁠⁠
